Joe Simmons, graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham, and a member of its sports hall of fame is the founder and CEO of Bull City State Of Mind. He has been featured on a few blogs ranging from the Sports Fan Journal and The Checking Line.

Mr. Simmons started his journey as an All American running back out of high school at North Surry High School in Mount Airy, NC. He finished his senior season with over 2000 yards rushing and just over 300 yards receiving while scoring 26 touchdowns.

He then carried his talents to North Carolina Central University. He was the team Most Valuable Player and All CIAA three years at NCCU. He finished his senior season with 1699 yards rushing, 310 yards receiving, and 23 touchdowns. He was a member of the Division NCAA All American team and finished third in the nation in rushing. He was the leading rusher in the Senior Bowl and was a Harlan Hill finalist.

Mr. Simmons professional career was short and simple as he never stuck as he tried out for several teams.

He later returned to North Carolina Central and coached running backs for four years, quarterbacks for two years, and linebackers for a year.

Mr. Simmons has spent the past few years teaching Political Science classes, Economics classes, and bettering himself as a human being. He often gives advice on all subjects everything and uses this blog as a platform to reach people who want to be entertained or who are seeking advice.
